Delicious food, friendly staff. Clean, cozy, cute and comforting
Food was delicious! Service was a little snow because she was by herself
This place had the most amazing food, I cannot recommend them enough. The French toast made with their oatmeal bread was so good, even just the sourdough toast that came with the omelet was amazing. They make the bread themselves, and even sell it by the loaf. We will for sure be going back there next time we go to the mountain. It's only an hour drive from our home, so we may even make the trip sometime just for breakfast!! The service was also great, wanted to add that.
Friendly, nice experience. Woman eating some soup came to our table and asked if we liked Cantrell mushrooms. She said "My son just made some delicious soup!" I decided to order soup and salad. The woman returned telling about an experience while picking mushrooms in the woods with her dog so my guess is that the mushrooms were hand picked by her. The soup.....DELICIOUS, the salad very good and large, the waitress friendly, the prices very good. Just do it!
This was excellent!! Rori's blue cheese burger is the best!! My guy said the prime rib French dip was pretty excellent too! 😁💖
This small cafe rocks the socks off any cafe we’ve been to, at least in a very very long time! My husband and I both had chicken fried steak and it was absolutely amazing! It stayed crispy until we were finished, even smothered in delicious homemade gravy. The hash browns were delicious, and the English muffins were amazing! Absolutely worth every penny and we will be back again!!
The Dragon Fly cafe was a great surprise find right off HWY26 (Cascade rd) with access from outside or from within the Mt Hood RV & Tiny House Village. The staff welcome all with a smile & great conversation. The food ranges from delicious egg dishes, omelettes & pancakes to their fresh baked scones (savory & sweet). & to-die-for Cinnamon- & cherry rolls (my personal fav for a carb spurge). Also available is a full selection bar. The food & in-restaurant service (As well as the conveniently located by the Welches Post Office additional bakery) earn a 5 star review but on several occasions I’ve arrived within their normal hours to find that they closed early so if you really want Dragon Fly food, call ahead. If not for this, I’d give 5 stars. Worth the stop even just to pick up baked goods & marvel at the array of magical dragon fly decor items. More photos to come!
Such a cute little cafe! Fabulous service, delicious house made food and THE BEST FRESH BREAD. A real local treat. So blessed to live right down the road.
Great service and amazing food. Homemade toast, fantastic pulled pork and very good bloody mary's. This is a great mom and pop place to eat.
Delicious almond pancakes, amazing service, highly reccomend.
Outstanding food and outstanding service! They even gave us a jar of homemade jam for Father’s Day!
We went there for lunch and the wait wasn’t too long for to-go. However, when we started to eat we noticed a few things that I hope won’t have us feeling sick later. My husbands omelette had eggshells in it. My baby’s meal of one egg, hash browns, and toast (which wasn’t included...), had no seasoning. It was extremely bland, but didn’t have eggshells in it. My salad was fine. Not great and not horrible. Perhaps it was an off day.
I have two teenage boys and a husband who all enjoy a good steak. All of us enjoy their Prime Rib. Homemade dinner that we go to every time we camp at Mt. Hood Village
Great breakfast spot! The french toast with homemade bread is spectacular.
I was looking for a good place to have breakfast with family and friends while up here on the mountain. After doing some research on the internet this place came up with high reviews and I decided to try them out. What a really pleasant surprise! The food was fresh and well prepared. You could taste the attention to details in every bite. We will be back to enjoy food made with love.
Very fun place with good food
Outstanding food and service!!
Horrible service. Waited for 10 minutes before we were even noticed, we were the third group of people that walked in during the dinner time (walked in at 5:03pm). We waited an hour for our food, but watched people that came in after us get their food. We watched multiple groups walk out because they were tired of waiting to even be given menus. The food is mediocre or the prices, and not worth the horrible service. We had to ask multiple times for ranch or refills of our water.
Good food, service was good, clean resturant. Very happy we came across the Dragonfly Cafe.I enjoyed the Prime rib, so tasty! We went for dinner then came back for breakfast the next morning.
Love this place!! All the food is wonderful and LeAnn is a fun server.I eat there when I go to my moms. Great bloody marys and all the homemade bread and cinnamon rolls are fantastic!
Great little restaurant right in mt hood village. Great service awesome food reasonably priced
Best food in the Mount hood area.. If you are going to the slopes and need energy for the day best place to stop before you go. you can tell it’s good when there are a lot of locals here too. Food was fantastic some of the best breakfast food you can experience. We had Leanne as the waitress excellent service too. Great ambassador to this great town. We will definitely be back again love it!!
Food was delicious! Waitress super nice!
Okay. So. If I lived in the Mt. Hood area I would eat here at least once a week. Maybe more. Definitely not less.Very cozy atmosphere, great customer service, bomb food!We will be back.
Our food was yummy and fresh. Will go again.
One of the best sandwiches I've ever eaten even got a ride back to where I needed to go best place in the most friendliest people I've met in a long time
If you can't sit here and enjoy a cup of coffee somethings wrong with you!
Great little cafe, delicious food. Had the eggs Benedict and it did not disappoint. Hollandaise was very yummy and my egg was poached perfectly! Never had a better egg. Hubby got the chicken fried steak and it was also delicious. Service was good, they were a bit busy. Would definitely go back!
Bakery is so cute, great foods, and great service!
Whoever they have answering their business phone is really rude. I called and politely asked if they carried any vegan options, and I was scoffed and laughed at. A simple “‘no” would’ve done just fine, lady. I’ve heard other locals complain about the customer service as well. Word gets around on the mountain, I’d treat your customers better if you wish to stay in business.
If you want a properly spiced chai tea latte, go to the Dragonfly Cafe & Bakery. I’ve had many diluted chai tea lattes over time, but this was the complete opposite. The latte was very hot when I received it (just like I like it) and it had a lingering spice to it with a creamy finish. Highly highly recommend! The cafe environment is so cozy and welcoming. Lots of positive energy! And it feels like an experience. The lady who assisted with my latte at the window was SUPER kind. She even GAVE me a slice of sticky bread from the kitchen, because I wasn’t really into the raspberry option that was displayed at the window. I have every reason to believe that she is the kind owner of this establishment. The Dragonfly Cafe & Bakery really sets its self apart from the rest. Definitely check it out! I know I will be back. 🕊
The customer service is always nice here and the waitresses make you feel at home. This is a nice spot for a cup of coffee and a cinnamon roll or scone. They also sell HUGE house made loaves of bread for $8. Do recommend.
Very wholesome ingredients and cheerful service
Terrific homemade food made and served by 3 lovely ladies! Their customer service is great! From the delicious burgers to the yummy breakfasts.....it’s ALL good! Don’t miss it!
Great place for breakfast. Lots of homemade food that you just can't get anywhere else. The owner and staff has always made me and my family feel welcome.
It's in a beautiful area and out of City limits quiet and peaceful I love it and would love to live out in the area
Great for breakfast. Avoid the Prime Rib. Its low quality and grisly. The side dishes are good
Old school classy! Great food and service.
It's the best kept Secret just tucked away inside the RV Village... Where no one knows about it but the locals and the people who might have a chance encounter... its only opened for breakfast and lunch weekdays. The bread is homemade and can't be beat. Love ❤️ Rory the owner is always welcoming, busy but always glad to see you!
Prices were amazing and everyone enjoyed their food. We ordered the french toast, kids silver dollar pancakes, BTK burrito, and Greek omelet. Food seemed to come out at a reasonable time even with a large order. They brought out kids food first which is always appreciated! Service was great - we were checked on frequently and offered coffee refills frequently. Overall it was a good visit and we would come back again.
Great place to enjoy a nice breakfast or Prime Rib dinner on the weekends. Always friendly service and delicious food!
What a cute little spot! We are staying at the Mt Hood RV resort and it’s been awesome being able to eat at this spot every morning while here. The sourdough bread is AMAZING. And their homemade jam is truly wonderful! The staff is very sweet!! Love it so much!
It's nice don't go if you are in a hurry
More than we could eat. Good food. Friendly service. Homemade breads. Yummy!
Very slow service today. There weren't that many other people here either but the two servers were running around like headless chickens. I felt bad for them. I waited 20 minutes for one to notice me - it is a "seat yourself" restaurant. I saw a family of 6 walk in, the waitress told them to wait, and 15 minutes later they walked out because all the workers were ignoring them.I ordered an iced latte, which they claim they can make, but what I got was iced coffee, no milk. A latte is espresso... with milk... usually steamed... not sure if they know the difference? This happened TWICE with two different waitresses. I had the veggie style eggs benedict, it was pretty decent. The bread they put it on did not taste like sourdough but it was very good nonetheless.
Adorable! The atmosphere is very homey. The staff was very friendly and makes you feel like a regular patron. All this and I'm finally getting to the food. Everything was delicious! This will be my new stop before heading up to Mt. Hood
I can order eggs and bloody Marys for breakfast... Awesome...
We don't know about the food since it was Waffle Wednesday and they didn't have everything to open on time. We even called first before walking up. Evidently the cook does not know how to communicate and simply kept yelling at us that they were closed instead of politely explaining. He never even identified himself as he was leaving to go the store. We left without our family eating. It might be just a bad day or start of one today, but we didn't want to chance it based on what we saw. Not how I would want my place managed. The baked items did look good, though.
Best home made food on the mountain. Even the 🍞 is made daily. Owner San Francisco transplant years ago. She takes great pride in every dish. Servers are friendly. Sit down take your time and just relax. You are going to enjoy a great meal.
